My name is Kotaro Ishiguro. I'm a Junior, majoring in CS, and I (think I) am on the HCI track. I was born in Japan, but moved to the U.S. when I was two. I spent my next eighteen years going back and forth between America and Japan.

My interests include: Games of a variety of genres. The only game I don't play are sports games. And sometimes I play those too.

Front-end design and coding. But I enjoy server-side programming as well. I'm still rather undecided about my track.

Random Ideas: Users could have very precise control over their avatars - i.e., being able to define their own movements instead of a set list of emotes from which to choose.

The virtual world could serve as a web browser. The 'virtual world browser' could somehow interpret html to build the graphics and objects of the world. I.e.,

tags could become buildings with text or something inside them and <img> tags would generate floating pictures. Hyperlinks could become portal-like swirly thingies that the user avatars could jump into to 'teleport' to a new page. If multiple users are on one page, then they could see each other and talk about things.

OS: I will be using Windows Vista. Stop telling me to upgrade! It's worked fine for me, and I had no problems with it!

Experience: I have experience coding in JavaScript. I'd have to give myself a quick refresher, but I don't think it'll be hard.
